Phil - now you mention it I think something was plugged at the end ! Watched the Sweeney last week , now that was shite !
I was also tuning in on friday morning, it was interesting, did you think they'd blocked something out he said (using the 3 second delay) about David Cameron (and the tories in general) or i may of misheard him or maybe he had trouble pronouncing something though, not sure !!

I bet he does, BUT he's a bit of a man of the people is Ray, from what he was saying it was as if he was just voicing a general opinion on a massive platform, although the man on the street may have a very strong political viewpoint you rarely hear it on a big scale like Ray said on friday, thats why the big deal has been made i reckon.

Sorry Alan can't reply to pm's. Received with thanks.
He's absolutely spot on in my eyes. This country is a slave to the rest of the world. Giving out money to very highly-growing economies in return for them trading with us. Paying millions per day to the EU again to make it easier for trading with the rest of Europe. Let's every man and it's dog take the piss out of the benefit system. Then has the audacity to deny war heroes a bed to sleep in and an elderly couple heating allowance. Not to mention the millions of immigrants they welcome in each day and in the same breath close a doctors clinic. It's basically for every 1000 immigrants entering the country that do fuck all but take our money and send it back to their own, a public sector employee loses their job. How any cunt can say that is ok i do not know. Drives me insane.
The EU is a very tricky issue. I'd love to see us leave the EU and then watch those who wanted it moan when growth stutters......for however fucking long.....The EU refferendum will be a comedy, because the bollockless big mouthed public who keep moaning about europe wont vote for us to leave.
Too many people read the Daily Mail and not papers worth picking up.

People lose jobs because of capitalism, not immigrants, you are blaming the symptom rather than the cause.
Sounds like you're reading too much Daily Mail waffling on about benefits.
I work in the benefits sector.I see the abuse every day both by immigrants and home grown folk. It's hard for decent folk who are unemployed to get a job currently. My brother lost his job, went for an interview last week and was one of only 3 Scots who made it to that stage
When we have mass unemployed it's stupidity to import more low-skilled people who will go straight on the dole queue. The recent census was another work of fiction. There are "unofficial " figures going around in government circles of the real population. The scaremeongering over the 70 million is exactly that............we reached that figure years ago.
There's no easy solution, but the current mess won't be helped by allowing more unskilled immigration into a country struggling to cope as it is.

Who are you going to employ an immigrant willing to work for minimum wage who shares a house with 10 - 15 other immigrants or a fully trained British worker who due to their qualifications would be rewarded a higher wage?
No other "system" would change the fact that people would rather employ cheap labour.
Due to the banking crises, job cuts, the richer getting richer while the poor get poorer then I understand capitalism does look like one big failure and an unfair system but what's the alternative? Communism! No thanks a flawed system from the start because of human nature.
Stop immigration, stop foreign aid and pull out of all current conflicts and the corrupt EU then we'll be getting some where.
Confusion in her eyes that says it all. She's lost control.....
He's not leaving though is he, just having a whinge.
For a bit of perspective, here are the latest migration numbers-
Immigration: 536,000 Emigration: 127,000 = 409,000 net
So yep there are still lots of people coming here, and way above what the government want, which is why they are trying to stop foreign students coming to study here etc.
It says that on average they pay 30% more in taxes than they take in public benefits- so you could say we'd be worse off without them. You could argue that if they didn't do the jobs, a native brit could do them, but that whole bit about coming over here and claiming benefits doesn't really stack up.

You ever had a proper look at how the benefits system? I can tell you its no fun to pick up a pittance every couple of weeks and trying to make it last. Re: the EU, who do you think is our biggest trading partner and who do you think helps subsidise areas of low economic activity?

The reason unemployment exists is capitalism. Capitalism needs competition in the labour market to keep wages down and it needs a reserve army of labour to replace workers on strike.
Regarding benefit fraud, it's a drop in the ocean when compared to the billions the rich avoid in tax and the billions in unpaid labour. Most people on benefits are not scroungers.
The alternative is planning production democratically according to human need. That way we will consistently raise the standard of living for all instead of a tiny minority at the expense of the rest. Human nature is not static, it is always changing and a reflection of society. It's also worth noting that we lived as primitive communists for 99% of our evolution. Private property was alien to our ancestors, we hunted our means of survival and distributed it fairly. We had to collaborate and share in order to survive in the wild. So you could argue it is in our 'nature' to be communists...

Don't let the facts get in the way of a good story :D.
The NHS wouldn't function without the hardworking migrant workers. Immigrants are just scapegoats.

You make good points except for this:
"we lived as primitive communists for 99% of our evolution. Private property was alien to our ancestors, we hunted our means of survival and distributed it fairly"
I doubt it. Maybe if you look at one tribe splitting the meat up after a hunt, or farming the land as best they could. But as soon as those bastards from over the hill tried to come over looking for their share of the Antelope.....
