Games?
Games as ruffling a few feathers and grasping the nettle on issues a few others are scared to raise. They border on the outrageous but might be what is needed to kick a few comfy arses

The media are in a frenzy at the thought of Ukip gaining any sort of support. Channel 4 compared them to the neo-Nazi Golden Dawn party in Greece FFS! Mainstream broadcasters and papers are always looking for an excuse to run a story about racism in an attempt to delegitimise them and their supporters but the fact is that Farage is the only leader addressing genuine concerns.
Quote: wadey wrote in post #10Don't they want to put tax up to 30% ?
That was a figure of combining tax and national insurance mate.
TAX: UKIP favours a flat tax - a single combined rate of income tax and national insurance paid by all workers. It claims this would end the complexity of the current system and allow people to keep more of the money they have earned. It would also lead to a major shrinking of the size of the state, which would revert to a "safety net" for the poorest. The party has yet to decide the rate at which the flat tax would be levied. Its policy at the 2010 election was 31% but a recent policy paper suggested 25%. It is having an internal debate about whether there should be two rates.

Can't believe these freaks have any support.
Well, a hell of a lot of the population must be freaks!
It's not racist to have concerns of overcrowding in schools, the NHS being on the brink of collapse and lack of housing. It may or may not be a protest vote, but its a kick in the bollocks to the Politicians who have ignored the silent majority's concern's for too long!
The silent majority who don't speak up and the i'm all right Jack, stuff everyone else attitude is why the Policyticions have gotten away with what they have!
They got my vote in both elections and any forthcoming ones the disdain that the other three parties have had for the general public over the years has been appalling.

having concerns about the NHS being on an apparent 'brink of collapse' and voting for a party that would privatise the NHS is utterly ridiculous. though i suspect it's the least of your worries if you think immigrants are the cause of all of those societal ills youve mentioned above.
a hell of a lot of the population must be freaks, yep around 9% of the voting population went a little strange last week.
reached for the secret too soon, cried for the moon.

So, Mr Trotsky if its not the immigrants, who in your 'expert' opinion is to blame?

'Mr Trotsky'?! Do you also complain about Liebour and the Condems taking us into the EUSSR?
Hopefully UKIP will go the way of the SDP - into oblivion. If, however, their relative success leads to an in-out referendum then that's a silver lining for sullying the political climate so much. Whether you agree with the free movement of labour etc or not is relevant when you consider how undemocratic an institute that it.
