Quote by VasqueFootball is great. Go onto any Liverpool forum and Suarez is innocent and Evra is a bad bellend. Go onto United forums and the opposite is true.
All this is doing is trivialising racism simply because of what team you support.
What I will say about Suarez is that he is no angel. A man that will physically bite an opponent on a football pitch is clearly not right in the head and will obviously go the extra mile to wind-up opponents. To apparently suddenly change a "discussion" from English to Spanish and then use the word negro is a bit suspect isn't it?
I agree with you about the LFC/MUFC forums both as bad as each other & Suarez is no angel as you say,but for you to say "All this is doing is trivialising racism simply because of what team you support." is utter rubbish!! If Suarez is proven guilty the FA should punish him severely however if it is not proven the book should be thrown at Evra.It does not matter who you support,i`m not John Terrys biggest fan but he is innocent until proven guilty. Also Liverpool have received documents from the Fa & are studying them & have issued a statement saying they are fully behind Luis Suarez
You've mistaken my meaning. When I mentioned the United/Liverpool forums I meant that the idiots who are siding with either Suarez or Evra simply by what shirt they wear are trivialising racism. And they are.
The rumours are that Suarez has admitted to using the negro/negrito word so if that is the case then I can't see how Evra can be punished. Suarez is saying it is a term used in everyday life in South America and not offensive. My earlier point was why change from English to Spanish and then say it knowing full well it is offensive in Europe. Afterall, Suarez has been in Europe a while so he knows the score.
Ok thanks for clearing that up see what you mean now.
to be fair im a liverpool fan so i wont let my biased get in the way here but really patrice evra accussing people of racism again that honest player ha how many cameras where in that stadium and yet sky have yet to find something if theres proof suarez has said it then a automatic 6 game ban is the miniumum he deserves but if theres not what happens to evra!

Not looking good now for bigman gladiator Terry.
at this stage Andy, the difference is Terry hasn't actually been charged with anything. Yet. Whatever your opinion on Terry, he is absolutely vital to this Chelsea side and he has been a complete leader of men at the club since assuming captaincy way back when. Terry is no saint, many people find him odious but I can assure you one thing - if he was called Terence John, came from Berkshire and played rugby for WASPs he wouldn't have received an ounce of bad press. Much of the (unjustified in many cases) bad press aimed at Terry, Cole, Rooney et al is, in my opinion, because of they are from working class backgrounds, uneducated and easy targets.

I wasn't judging Terry Colm, merely pointing out that it isn't looking good for him after the Suarez outcome. I believe the Suarez ban is so lenient because of the "negrito" situation. Terry has no such defence if found guilty.
Have you seen the official statement from LFC after this decision? I'm staggered....
Liverpool Football Club is very surprised and disappointed with the decision of the Football Association Commission to find Luis Suarez guilty of the charges against him.
We look forward to the publication of the Commission's Judgment. We will study the detailed reasons of the Commission once they become available, but reserve our right to appeal or take any other course of action we feel appropriate with regards to this situation.
We find it extraordinary that Luis can be found guilty on the word of Patrice Evra alone when no-one else on the field of play - including Evra's own Manchester United teammates and all the match officials - heard the alleged conversation between the two players in a crowded Kop goalmouth while a corner kick was about to be taken.
The Club takes extremely seriously the fight against all forms of discrimination and has a long and successful track record in work relating to anti-racist activity and social inclusion. We remain committed to this ideal and equality for all, irrespective of a person's background.
LFC considers racism in any form to be unacceptable - without compromise. It is our strong held belief, having gone over the facts of the case, that Luis Suarez did not commit any racist act. It is also our opinion that the accusation by this particular player was not credible - certainly no more credible than his prior unfounded accusations.
It is key to note that Patrice Evra himself in his written statement in this case said 'I don't think that Luis Suarez is racist'. The FA in their opening remarks accepted that Luis Suarez was not racist.
Luis himself is of a mixed race family background as his grandfather was black. He has been personally involved since the 2010 World Cup in a charitable project which uses sport to encourage solidarity amongst people of different backgrounds with the central theme that the colour of a person's skin does not matter; they can all play together as a team.
He has played with black players and mixed with their families whilst with the Uruguay national side and was Captain at Ajax Amsterdam of a team with a proud multi-cultural profile, many of whom became good friends.
It seems incredible to us that a player of mixed heritage should be accused and found guilty in the way he has based on the evidence presented. We do not recognise the way in which Luis Suarez has been characterised.
It appears to us that the FA were determined to bring charges against Luis Suarez, even before interviewing him at the beginning of November. Nothing we have heard in the course of the hearing has changed our view that Luis Suarez is innocent of the charges brought against him and we will provide Luis with whatever support he now needs to clear his name.
We would also like to know when the FA intend to charge Patrice Evra with making abusive remarks to an opponent after he admitted himself in his evidence to insulting Luis Suarez in Spanish in the most objectionable of terms. Luis, to his credit, actually told the FA he had not heard the insult.

If Terry is found guilt he should face the stiffest possible sanction - no place for this shit is sport.

it's such a self serving statement of self fucking pity - sorry 'Pool fans but that is pathetic.
I think if LFC don't re-phrase that statement then Evra will sue the fuck out of them. It is a complete character assassination and they are still peddling the "previous accusation" lies about him. Tut tut.

I'd imagine United's lawyer are on it as we speak!
Edit: They obviously were because the statement ain't there now....

Terry is replaceable IMHO. I was at the Wigan game on Saturday and thought he looked like an average defender at best. He made a few silly errors and kept time wasting at 1-0 and encouraging his team mates to do so also, which cost them dearly in the end. I think he was absolutely vital to Chelsea, but not any more. I think Chelsea should get rid of him, Lampard, Cech, Kalou and Mikel. Get in a couple of world class signing and form a new spine to the team.

Read the statement properly LFC do not make any "previous accusation" all they have said about Evra is what hes said himself to the FA

It couldn't be clearer. LFC are in big big shit over this statement. The lawyer who cleared that statement is an imbecile.
