In Europe they are excellent when they have all the flare and banner displays. I love watching European football for the Ultra displays. In England people try to copy what they do in Europe but its shite.
For Liverpool we have all the big waving flags on The Kop but I wouldn't call us Ultras. Its just a way to keep the Kop unique from any other team in the league. Chelsea and other teams try to copy with their big wavers but they are paid for by the club. Me and the lads who sort it for Liverpool pay for it out of our own pocket and sort it out game by game. It might not by your cup of tea but I get a buzz out of sorting it all out to make the atmosphere at every game as good as it can be. I don't think you can beat a picture of The Kop when we have all the flags out, no other club in England comes close to what we do in my opinion (without sounding biased!!)

Is he the lad from Stretford End Flags? I've been told he's a scouser. Not sure how true it is though, apparently he was born and lives in Merseyside but keeps it quiet when sorting the flags for United.

You are correct! I've also heard this.... I heard he's an Everton fan! Seems like we both have an excuse to hate him now
They were pretty good when we went their for the opening game of last season. They packed out their area. Although they did say, that was the most fans they'd had joining with their songs/chants etc.
Some of our geeks attempted to sing that Dale Cavese thing (or whatever it's called) on Tuesday night. They got loads of stick. It's false, plastic. It's almost always proper fucking blemishes aswell. Geeks R us.
Flags, displays, banners, flares are all fine by me so long as they're accompanied by proper British songs and not wordless, droning, pointless, unsupportive dirges.
It's my new pet hate and if these sad cunts try and get it going again on Saturday or in future I'll be one of dozens telling them not to. My team has lost pretty much everything in the last decade and the only thing remaining is the integrity of our fans. Fuck giving that up too.
