Quote: get the beer in wrote in post #97Genuine question G, but why so much hatred towards Rafa? OK he had a little dig not long back but football supporters in general have short memories, is it because he were successful at Liverpool and won trophies, hint of jealousy perhaps? Tbh if a manager from a local rival took over it wouldn't bother me in the slightest as long as he bought success to the club. Rafa was a dead man walking from day one, no matter what Chelsea 'fans' think of him he is a top class manager and should have been treated better. Abramovich needs to step back and take a good hard look at his brown nose 'advisers' they seem quick enough push the blame onto the Managers, who no doubt had a say in their appointments in the first place. Chelsea fans really need to move on and get over Di Matteo, he were a lucky Manager who inherited a top class side.
Anyway Rafa will be gone come Saturday tea time.
He's a top class Manager? Jealous???!!!! you're at it Tone and I'd say he inherited a fairly decent team himself - suppose that means that its all down to luck. One Interim wins the CL and the other can't beat score against Swansea over 2 legs stop winding mate and enjoy whats left of Lukakus time in your colours

Bite, you bugger, bite.
That Lukaku is gonna be one of the best foreign players to grace the Premier League mate, hopefully we can keep him for one more season. Tbh when he came here, he were clueless, just one big lump, who ran around the field aimlessly, credit where credits due the back room staff have turned the boy into a man. In every interview i've seen he's conducted himself well, its all about the team and not him. The irony is, if he's stayed at the Bridge he'd probably still be playing playing in the 2nd team, detined to be another one that wasn't good enough. My only hope is when he does eventually go back, he doesn't start playing 'the Chelsea way'

for once, I actually agree with 98% of your post he was very raw last year but he's sharper, quicker and more confident this season. Then again, he won't be the first player to improve under Clarkies stewardship. you're right though - he'd have been a bit part player here - apprentice to ladyboy up front. playing the Chelsea way? you mean winning silverware???
hopefully, him, Nathan Ake, Chalobah, Feruz and Alex Davey represent the future of the club. Hopefully those comedians on the board I mentioned above represent the past....
