at a guess, the Stephen Lawrence Inquiry report.
It's interesting this racism accusation. I recently watched white British males in Ulster subjected to water cannons and plastic bullet rounds on the first night of rioting in July but yet I can watch the news and see the police stand by in other parts of the UK as what is, based on the footage I saw, prodominately large groups of black or asian blokes run riot. I'll mull that one over for a bit.....
"The nightmares invading the sleep of Bayern fans involve four horsemen of the Champions League Apocalypse riding towards them. As the faces come into focus, they will recognise Frank Lampard, Cole, Petr Cech and Drogba. All were immense..."
As stated RamseesCFC, such racism has been experienced first hand by myself, as well as my four year old daughter. I don't think there can really be any doubt that racism is rife within the police. The police used watercanons in Belfast as they had watercanons at their disposal, the Met do not. They have obviously adopted a different strategy, although if it continues, I can see rubber bullets being used.

Nor can there be doubt that there exists institutional ambivalence to the laws of this land within large elements of the black community, after the Lawrence and Mubarak enquiries both the police and hmps have made enormous strides to eradicate racism. I myself have also experienced racism, only a few weeks ago in Brixton, I'm white.
Its nothing to do with availability. They aren't approved for use on the mainland by the Home Office. And even if they were, Theresa May has already given indications they won't use them. I think Sammy Wilson, an MP from Ulster, sums it up pretty well here....
The DUP MP said: "It is a tragedy to see the capital city in flames, streets taken over by yobs and scum destroying property, thieving and terrorising. The fact of the matter is that these riots have gone on for three nights and rather coming to an end they are continuing because the message is going out that the liberal establishment is afraid to do what is necessary to clean up our streets and give protection to ordinary individuals. Sadly, it seems like the Home Secretary is more interested in keeping her liberal credentials shining rather than authorise the police to use every method available to control these foul gangs. The use of water cannon and baton rounds have proved effective in Northern Ireland for both protecting police lives and giving the police the upper hand over the rioters yet whilst they are good enough in this part of the UK the Home Secretary rejects them because she wishes to have 'consensual policing' in Great Britain," he fumed.

Your still taking a whole other subject and putting it on something that really doesn't really need it right now though. Football support/the working classes are just a institutionally racist as you put it. It's the same everywhere. It's not all of us though. Get over it, this is about morons destroying communities, nothing more, nothing less.

Football supporters/the working classes are just as institutionally racist? What? Since when have football supporters/the working class been considered a professional organisastion?
As I have said in numerous posts, I am in no way advocating the behaviour of theses morons. I simply stipulated that I disliked the police, numerous posters have pulled me up on this and I have provided logical explanations as to why this is my position.
The bottom line is that I dislike the police due to several negative experiences which I have had with them, including being assaulted and racially abused. I work hard and pay taxes which go towards them preventing and deterring such crimes. Such negative experiences are inevitably going to effect my conceptions of the organisation. This is how I feel, it will take a hell of a lot for my views on the matter to be changed, let's just leave it at that.
all over the news all over the papers all over facebook all over twitter mentioned here a few times everyone about the office is talking about it always on the radio
doesnt look like there is much going on tonight though ..... yet....

Makes me laugh this. They probably go away smashing up other cities whilst attacking other 'lads' and the police after emptying services and corner shops.

Understand where you're coming from, complicated as police very good when my African girlfriend got burgled by guy she used to work with but not so good when Anglo Asian friend who worked for police got abuse from day one. Also know a few black policeman so complicated.
Sky Channel 847 is brilliant. Two Asian guys just driving about looking for any trouble. Earlier they picked up a copper who was chasing some kids, drove him down the road and he arrested the kids... "ONE ARREST! TWO ARREST! THREE! FOUR ARREST! We are really helping the community here on Amrit Bani TV!"
Proper funny stuff. Now guys standing outside mosques armed with huge spears.
Anyone secretly pleased England game is off tomorrow because of all this? It's bad enough watching our cities get burned to the ground, but it would be adding insult to injury to have to endure seeing that band of useless cunts
